The story of Max and Rosy really starts with my own two pups and a simple realization that changed everything for me. My name’s Jacques, and like any dog owner, I just want what’s best for my furry buddies. Seeing how commercial dog treats and food often put profits before pups’ health lit a fire in me. So, I decided to do something about it. Naming the business after Max and Rosy wasn't just a tribute to my dogs; it was a commitment to making a real difference in what our dogs eat.

Creating Max and Rosy was driven by a clear purpose: to shake up the dog food world with something better, something wholesome. It's been a journey of turning my back on the status quo and offering a healthier, more transparent choice for our four-legged friends.

But here's my promise to you: everything on our menu is top-notch, hand made from 100% human-grade ingredients. I’ve made it my mission to source all our ingredients from local farms and businesses right here in South Africa. It’s all about giving your pet the best while keeping things local and reducing our footprint.

My passion? Making sure our pets get to eat as well as we do, without any of the bad stuff. That means no fillers, no sugars, no chemical preservatives, and definitely no low-quality meats. Just a balanced, nutrient-rich diet to keep them happy and healthy from puppyhood to their golden years. Every meal we prepare is made with a lot of love and care, thinking about your pet's well-being first and foremost.
